Description:	The Yard Specialist works at the Visalia manufacturing/distribution facility. The position is a combination of blending, packaging and loading of various BCS products. Receiving of bulk material by Truck and Rail. Loading bulk products and assisting BCS drivers as needed. The Yard Specialist reports to the Operations Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: • Working the safest way possible in every facet of the job • Receiving Raw Materials by Truck and Rail • Production of BCS Blends and Packaging (drums & totes) • Carrying out quality control procedures/lab tests • Maintain excellent housekeeping and physical appearance of the Visalia plant • Fill out various load forms, batch sheets and logs • Forklift work is required PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Mechanical experience • Experience working with preventative maintenance programs • Hazardous Materials training and handling experience • Experience with inventory management • 3-5 years of chemical operator experience (preferred) When responding please state job code: 322 Yard Specialist Visalia, California
Requirements:	MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Forklift Certified • Valid CA driver license • Excellent communication skills • Exceptional time management and the ability to work with others • Ability to participate in the respirator program • Ability to pass drug test and background check WORKING CONDITIONS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Will be around running tractors. • This position will require handling hazardous materials (with appropriate use of personal protective equipment); including chemical protective suit, hard hat, goggles, and face shield. • This position may require long hours and weekend work and being on call.
