Delivery Specialist is responsible for loading/unloading and delivering mini-bulk and bulk chemicals as dispatched in the safest and most efficient manner. Delivery Specialist report to the Operations Supervisor.
1. Reading and being familiar with all Company policies and procedures as detailed in the Employee Handbook, Safety Manual, and Operations Manual.

7. Driving in a safe and responsible manner and following all DOT rules and regulations while making chemical deliveries.
8. Loading trucks with proper materials (and concentrations) to be delivered as dispatched, and insuring all paperwork complies with Company and DOT policies and regulations.
9. Safely delivering chemicals as dispatched to our customers promptly and in a courteous fashion.
10. Reporting all spills immediately to the Shipping Supervisor or Operations Manager. Cleaning up any spill, however minor, to the customers satisfaction and filling out and turning in the required incident report to the Shipping Supervisor.
11. Reporting all defects in equipment including tractor, trailer or customer tanks utilizing proper forms, to insure there is a written record so corrective action can be taken.
12. Working any overtime, if required, complying with established DOT rules and regulations.

The position is primarily responsible for coordinating dispatch for Univar/BCS Bulk and Mini Bulk drivers domiciled in Pittsburg and manage traffic for all customer pickup traffic at the K2/Pure Solutions loading racks. The Dispatcher reports to the RWC Operations Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Participate in the Univar/BCS safety program and adhere to Safety policies and Cardinal Rules.
Take ownership of operational issues, communicate/escalate to appropriate Univar/BCS personnel, work with K2 personnel to reach resolution.
Verify, confirm and track all paperwork generated from Univar/BCS Shared Services groups including BOLs, sales orders, pick up numbers, COAs and proof of delivery.
Routing of Univar/BCS delivery specialists domiciled in Pittsburg.
Schedule and manage loading traffic at the K2 loading racks including Univar/BCS drivers and customer pickups. Manage/coordinate deliveries of raw materials provided by Univar/BCS to the site.
Drive tractor/trailers on site and perform trailer loading as required.
Point of contact for the Western Regional Shared Services group regarding customer orders.
Administrative duties including collecting completed paperwork and scanning for billing, collect bulk net weight data, driver payroll data entry, fuel cards, BIT paperwork filing (BOLs, DVIRs), etc.
Maintain supplies for Univar/BCS drivers including PPE and minor maintenance items.
